Talentcorp Talent Fair 2012

Argh…Graduation seems so far away I sometimes feel like I wanna find a job and start working as soon as possible. I want to earn lots of money for my future!

But I know working isn’t easy. I have a few friends who had already started working but they say they don’t really like their jobs because they’re not interested in it. I think it’s important to know what job you're getting into and liking what you do. Imagine you have to face that job for your entire life! Why not get a better job?!

Even though I’m still studying, my sister always say it’s good to start looking out for what kind of jobs that interest you so you can work towards achieving it. And one of the best places to look at your options is to look at job listings on the newspaper or better, go to a career fair where you can ask questions!
Talk about that, Talentcorp will be having a career fair called the Sector Focused career fair at MMU Cyberjaya on 20-21 November 2012 , 10.00am – 5.00pm

 It's 10 am to 5 pm not 9 am to 5 pm!

This career fair aims to educate the public on the choices of career paths available in the 4 main sectors: Electrical &Electronic Engineering, Oil &Gas, Telco, Biotech & ICT , and what’s special about this career fair is that most of the big companies/market leaders for each sector will be there! About 50 companies!

If you’re in the Engineering field and would like to explore your options in the 4 sectors, make sure you don’t miss out! Those who have just started working, fresh grads, or those still studying like me can go check it out.

Don’t worry if you feel like you don’t know what you want to do yet because there will be a lot of talks and sharing sessions by market experts too. Plus point for this career fair is that they encourage the public to bring their CVs as well as they can be interviewed there and then if the companies are keen.

For those who’re interested do check it out ok! Who knows, you might get yourself your dream job there :)

UK education fair

Had a random conversation with my friend today and she told me about her cousin who had recently graduated from a university in the UK.

According to my friend, the overall fees to study in the UK is not expensive and it does not take a long time to complete a course, but it depends on what course you choose la. The best part of being a UK graduate is – you get paid a higher salary T.T! Since my friend told me about it, I decided to do some research today. Thanks ah my friend -.- !

There are a few websites that I found. It's all about the postgraduate experience survey. The first is “the UK offers you an outstanding quality of teaching and a world-class learning experience survey.” Over 86% of postgraduate students in the UK stated that the overall experience of their research programme met or exceeded their expectation. In addition, over 92% of postgraduate students in the UK rated the quality of teaching they received positively! All this is a UK-wide survey that collected the views of current postgraduate researchers. Besides that, over 88% of international graduates are satisfied with their learning experience! 83% felt that their UK degree was worth the financial investment even after three years upon graduation and so did the 80% who graduated 6 months ago. Woah! Source from here

Let's see the second “A UK education is great value for money survey”? It said that UK degree courses are shorter than many other countries. Also that the UK is typically less expensive than US and Australia in terms of fees charged :-o Oh Really?? The UK is cheaper than the US based on the institutions surveyed in the study and fees at Australian universities in the study exceeded those in UK. Source from here

And the last one, “A UK education is your passport to an outstanding career survey” They proved UK-educated international graduates achieved higher average salaries than their home country!
Recent graduates returning to China to work achieved an average starting salary of 9675 pounds; which amounts to 47,481 in Malaysian Ringgit! OMFG! :-O Seriously it's real! Source from here

Oh no, it's so tempting ._. I think I should take my mom to the Education UK fair which will be happening from the 3rd to 4th of November 2012 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 1pm to 6pm. Let’s see whether my mom will let me study in the UK or not, hahahaa!
There will lots of course options and useful seminars available at the Education UK fair! Such as: how to choose the right A level / IB subject combination, Tips on perfecting your personal statement , Breaking into top UK universities , Succeed in IELTS with the British Council! I believe some of you want to study in UK too right!! Let's go and have a look, it's free entry anyway LOL!

By the way there’s lucky draw prizes to be given away on both days too! Such as Hp mini, Ps3, Samsung Galaxy tab and iPad ! Wooohooo! One lucky draw winner will be contacted via their mobile phone at these timings during the exhibition hours: 2.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm each day ! But before you want to join this lucky draw contest you have to pre-register your attendance first and visit the exhibition on that day! So don’t miss this out! You may pre-register here

First radio interview with Bernama Radio

Noooo..... My fatty side face ><

Ohai! I just had my first radio interview just now at Bernama radio 93.9fm today. It was a fun experience, now I realized being a radio dj isn't easy at all! You have to think fast, speak professionally!
I was the special guest of the night for Bernama Radio's The Lounge @ 8Twelve Live session,
I'm a little bit nervous during the talk because my communication skills isn't really good, luckily I don't have to speak in Bahasa Melayu. Because my bm even more worst LOL

DJ Gerard Ratnam say it's okay to talk any languages during the conversation as long as I don't stop talking. I still remember there's this part I said Bulgogi *FAN*  (Fan means rice in cantonese) wtf. So embarrassing! I can't believe I said that. I guess I talked a lot about Koreans in this radio interview, actually I wanted to say something else instead of korean food as my favourite food in Malaysia but my mind was flooded with korea and koreans ._. that's why I said Malaysia's good food is korean food randomly aiks. Big mistake! Actually there's a lot more good foods in Malaysia!

This DJ Gerard Ratnam, he is the one who talked with me during the radio interview! He is awesome!!

Thanks to JunSern him and Shawn * not in this picture >< * who makes me feel not so nervous before the interview start. I had a great talk with you guys!

And of course Thanks to Bernama Radio and Nuffnang for giving me this opportunity to be the special guest for Bernama Radio's The Lounge session! Last but not least, I wanna thanks you guys who listened to the live broadcast just now :-* I appreciate much!

ELLO everyone! It's friday and that's means no class tomorrow, hippie! Finally I get to have some rest, it's already the second week of college and I'm learning typography and digital graphic right now. Argh... I hate typography so much, it's like memorizing sejarah T.T  I believe this is the most frustrated subject in this semester! I chose Times New Roman as my husband for this assignment but looks like my lecturer doesn't like us to choose this typeface zzzz... Anyway, I don't care I like times new roman! Please be fair to this typeface ok, my pretty lecturer!

Today I've got something nice to share with you guys! It's some earcuffs thingy. Let me tell you a story about my ear hole first before I show you guys my earcuffs. LOL sounds so wrong hahaha.... Erm.... my pierced ears? Okay my pierced ears, when I was in younger age I've already got my piercing on both sides earlobe. I remembered when I was 6years old something bad happened to me and I'll never forget about it.
There's this one day my mom put my backpack on the table and I was in a rush to kindergarden that time so I didn't think about it and I straight away wear my backpack from the table then the backpack's straps actually pulled my right side ear piercing and it bleed -.- Ouch! Can you imagine that, Damn painful! So after that experience, I don't know why I've the courage to get more piercing when I was in form 1, it's like 6 piercing at the same time and I actually got myself a inner earlobe piercing too wtf. But now, it's been a few years I didn't wear earrings anymore and it's already sealed. So sad, I cannot buy earring lol.
Luckily, there's some creative people created earcuff thingy for us to wear! The earcuff thingy is like a ear accessories with a gap designed to be pinched onto the ear without need for piercing.

This is how it looks like,

Apologize for my low quality pictures LOL. Because my camera is still under repair wtf. Stupid Sony Malaysia as their customer service sucks as it's been two weeks I haven't get a call from them to collect my camera! WHERE'S MY CAMERAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Another design,

So what do you think? :)

I got these earcuffs from here

Have a nice day everyone!

My Favourite Korean Things

Annyeong! Today's topic is about my favourite korean things! After mine, you've to write yours on my comment box ok? Because I wanna know what's your favourite korean things too :p So, let's start!

My first thing is Korean Food! Currently there's only two korean dishes that I really love to eat, I believe I must have it at least once a week!
1) Dak Galbi

and

2) Bulgogi rice

Even though I went to several places just for the same dish but both of these I'll never get bored of it! Mad love Yum Yum!

Second thing : K-pop
K-pop is addictive. Once you fall to them, you cant look back! Am I right? Even though you don't know what they're singing about but their songs are very catchy and unique. I guess most of the k-pop songs get stuck on my head after I hear it for the first time. Do you?
Besides that, I like K-pop because groups/solo acts are able to perform on music shows every week so that we can see them perform regularly!
I believe everyone is having k-pop fever now because of oppa gangnam style :-o Even those aunty and uncle who work at the *pasar/ market * also in love with this song!
Here's some k-pops,

Not the latest songs but still all these are my favourites!

Third thing : Korean cosmetics!
I'm so in love with korean cosmetics because their packaging design are superb cute and lovely! But not only that, their cosmetics are pretty good to use! Especially, bb creams! I've already bought holika holika aqua petit jelly bb cream last few days ago and I love it much! I promise I'll blog about it next time :)
Here's a few Korean cosmetic brands that I would like to buy them home!
Etude house,

Holika Holika,

Beauty credit,

Tony Moly,

Yadah,

Fourth thing : Korean Dramas!
Especially when I get to watch my favourite k-pop stars in that drama! Example : Dream High 1 and 2 , Playful Kiss, To the beautiful you and Boys over flowers

Well, I guess that's all about it. Too bad, I've never been to Korea before T.T I hope one day I can go on a trip to Korea! *This is my biggest dream*

中间分界,心理变态

I'm such a bad bad girl, I ditched my assignments just to update my blog >_<
I know that you guys already knew I dyed my hair right???????? And lots of people keep on asking me where did I dyed my hair!
So here is it! I dyed my hair at number76style  @MidValley. Thanks to awesome hairstylist Yoshi who dyed my hair! It was so nice oooookkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk! Finally I get to have Lavender grey hair T.T I've been wanting this color for so long, it's so pretty! I hope it can last forever and ever and it won't fade but I know it's impossible.
So if you guys wanna dye your hair something like mine, you guys can find Yoshi! Just show him my picture LOL.

Hmmmm..... I guess this is the 3rd time I bleached my hair and this time is actually quite painful D: Especially when he bleached my hair roots! ouch! Anyway I like this hair color so much! very much! Do you guys like it too?

After applied makeup,

Oh ya, he bleached my eyebrows too! See the difference between the first picture and this, feel much more natural right!

Okay that's all for today! Good night!

I felt so bad, I made my mom unhappy just now.
I wanted to say something nice to her but she doesn't want to listen any excuse.
She keep on thinking that we don't love her and we don't care about her.
Sigh, I really don't know what should I do.
We do love you and care about you mummy
